Happy Wednesday! Check out these diverse new tracks featuring Homer, KIRBY, Karri and Faux Real.

1. “Rollin'” – Homer, KIRBY

Picture this: a newfound crispness in the air, autumn settles in and drops hints of calm, cool mornings by the window. “Rollin'”, the newest collaboration between multi-instrumentalist Homer and singer KIRBY evokes that turn-of-the-season feeling with soothing instrumentals and an undeniable R&B shadow. Full of soul, KIRBY’s entrancing vocals layer perfectly with the underlying brass, guitar and drum lines. The track will open up Homer’s debut solo album, Ensatina, set to be released Nov. 15 via Big Crown Records.

2. “Let The Wind Blow (feat. maywax)” – ALESSA.A

Completely switching gears, “Let The Wind Blow (feat. maywax)” by Osaka-native artist ALESSA.A brings an undeniable intensity to the electronic music scene. With driving basslines and immersive synths, the new single is both exhilarating and inspiring. “This song will give you courage,” says ALESSA.A. “It’s a song to support those who are trying their best.” If you’re looking for a midday pick-me-up banger, “Let The Wind Blow (feat. maywax)” is the perfect song for you.

3. “Oakland Pt. 2” – Karri

“Oakland Pt. 2” by R&B artist Karri is a reflective, melancholic track about craving a past lover’s presence after they left town. The 20-year-old Bay Area native opens his heart with soulful vocals and a light percussive backing track. The song follows Karri’s viral single, “Impromptu,” which garnered over 1.4 million TikTok views and nearly 3 million Spotify streams since its release in May.

4. “Confusion” – Fashion Club

Entrancing, ascending synths open Fashion Club‘s newest single, “Confusion,” culminating in layers of electro-pop and thought-provoking lyricism. The accompanying, monochromatic music video finds Pascal Stevenson, the face of Fashion Club, walking around a dark forest, seemingly trying to find something. “You have to read into it quite a bit, but I think it’s about these feelings of self-doubt and low self-worth that come from the crushing capitalism inherent in American society,” said Stevenson. “It’s about trying to make yourself feel useful and feel worth something in a society that says, ‘If you’re not functioning in a certain way, you’re not worth anything.'”

5. “Hi Tension” – Faux Real

Ending out Wednesday’s selection is Faux Real‘s new, funky, upbeat single, “Hi Tension.” The Franco-American brotherly duo combine high-energy synths and unique lyrics to this fresh pop sensation. The music video features the pair having the time of their lives in the desert with dirt bikes and flamethrowers. “Hi Tension” is also featured on their 11-track debut album, Faux Ever, which was released on Oct. 11. “We’ve always been drawn to the daredevil figure in American lore, it’s kind of a theme throughout the album,” says Faux Real. This was one of our attempts at capturing its bold, brash and burning spirit.””
