1. “Going Under” – The Haunt

Florida-based rock duo The Haunt have unleashed their latest electrifying single, “Going Under.” Intertwined with angsty vocals and gritty guitar riffs, the track’s lyricism delves into the concept of living an overwhelming, isolating cycle while trying to pursue one’s dreams. “You ruined everything / You never thought I was enough / And now we’re spiraling / We’re going under,” the pair sing. Vigorous drums and aggressive head banging accompanies the song’s official music video. 2. “One Drink Away” – RØRY

“One Drink Away” by English singer-songwriter and producer RØRY is an intimate track highlighting the harsh reality of pursuing sobriety and enduring the recovery process. “This song is a reminder that even after six years, I’m still just one choice away from losing it all,” RØRY explains. “It’s for anyone who knows that recovery isn’t a finish line; but a constant, daily battle.” Looking ahead, “One Drink Away” will be found on her forthcoming debut album, RESTORATION, set to be released Jan. 31, 2025. 3. “Skal” – MANNTRA

Croatian-based metal legends MANNTRA have released their roaring new rendition of Miracle Of Sound’s infamous, “Skal.” Jam-packed with banging drums, thrilling guitar riffs and energizing vocals, the release showcases MANNTRA’s ability to fuse creativity with pure resilience. “Skal” marks the first released single set to be featured on their upcoming album, Titans. 4. “Green Serpent” – JINJER

Continuing our reign of intense metal releases is “Green Serpent” by Ukrainian metal band JINJER. The riveting new single showcases a defiant new side of the band, with layers of hard-hitting percussion lines. guttural screams and technical grooves. It will be featured on JINJER’s fifth full length album, Duél, out Feb. 7, 2025. The group will also continue their international performance tour through the winter and spring. 5. “The End Will Show Us How” – TREMONTI

Last up is “The End Will Show Us How,” a reflective single by American heavy metal band TREMONTI. Instrumentally, the song weaves together intricate guitar fingerpicking, resonant vocals and mid-tempo percussion lines. The track’s thought-provoking lyricism dives into themes of clarity, specifically that feeling of finding meaning in a certain experience after it has passed. “The End Will Show Us How” is the title track for TREMONTI’s sixth studio album, The End Will Show Us How, set to be released on Jan. 10, 2025.
