Fred again.. has unveiled two new tracks, “Facilita” with Caribou and MC Teteu and “Ambery” with Floating Points, as the latest additions to his evolving USB album project. The releases arrive alongside a fresh run of USB002 shows and a forthcoming vinyl edition of the new chapter in the series.
New tracks: “Facilita” and “Ambery”
“Facilita” pairs Fred again.. with Caribou and Brazilian artist MC Teteu. The collaborative, club-focused track has defined Fred again’s USB era. While “Ambery” brings Floating Points into the fold, which signals a more exploratory, textural side to the project but still sitting firmly within Fred’s dance-music universe.
Evolving the USB era
Both tracks are presented as the next releases in Fred’s infinite, ever-evolving USB album, which sees the producer treating USB as a living project rather than a fixed, one time album. They follow a rapid sequence of recent drops from this same era, including “the floor” remixes with Skin On Skin & BEAM, “OGdub” with Danny Brown, BEAM & PARISI, and “you’re a star” with Amyl and the Sniffers.
USB002: 10s Across The Board

The current phase of the series, USB002, is structured around a 10–10–10 concept: ten songs, ten shows, ten cities over ten weeks. The fourth USB002 show takes place at Lyon’s Halle Tony Garnier with Caribou and Floating Points, following a Madrid date at IFEMA where Fred was joined by Skin On Skin, DREA and Toccororo and where a large-scale installation by visual artist Boris Acket, set to appear at every USB002 show in 2025, was in exhibition.
From USB to USB001 and USB002
Fred’s USB album first took shape in 2022, gathering fan favorites such as “Baby Again,” “Rumble” with Skrillex & Flowdan, “Jungle,” “leavemealone” with Baby Keem, and “stayinit” with Lil Yachty, plus remixes from pioneers such as Nia Archives, HAAi and Rico Nasty. That material was later pressed to vinyl as USB001 in 2024, effectively freezing one “volume” of an otherwise continuously updated digital project and setting the stage for USB002 and its associated vinyl release. With “Facilta” and “Ambery” now joining the USB series, one can positively assume that Fred again.. is only evolving the project even more and bringing in new, innovative sounds to the mix.
