Breakthrough pop singer-songwriter Emei is back with her newest single “ALL THESE KIDS.” The up-and-coming star found immense success last year with her debut album SCATTERBRAIN, which . However, he’s ready to take the next step in her career with her upcoming EP, RABBITHOLE, set to release on November 15th.

“ALL THESE KIDS” is the second single released from the EP, following the title track which was released this summer. Emei said that at its core, her newest track is about embracing self-confidence while your whole world seems like it’s falling apart.

“I imagine there being two of me in this song, one scared while watching and listening to this confident version of me, and the other on a throne screaming at the other. It feels like the pep talk that plays in my head before I play a show.”

The single continues the young star’s streak of evocative lyricism, which receives a strong lift thanks to production from TimFromTheHouse and Yung Bae. After beginning with a moody, elegant jazz intro, thumping bass drums, tight snares and cash register samples burst through at the onset of the first verse. With the introduction of these sonic elements to the track, Emei’s vocals are given a proper foundation to step into the braggadocios persona she embodies effortlessly.

This high-octane, in your face single is the perfect kickstart to anyone looking to walk with a little more swagger and command just a bit more energy in a room.

Emei is no stranger to owning a room. The first part of her 2024 was spent performing sold-out shows in Europe and major American cities. She didn’t stop there, as she just finished a sold-out run of her first Australian headline shows.
