Denver-based duo Will Timbers and Chris Fruci, longtime friends and the creative force behind Compass & Cavern, created a song that delves into the intricacies of aging and maturing. According to Compass & Cavern, “Adolescent Eyes” encompasses two distinct attitudes that lead singer Will has toward growing up.
Looking through the lens of a younger self illuminates the complexities of coming of age. From a disillusioned perspective, Compass & Cavern sheds light on rushing to grow up, even as the world loses its luster.
