Fear is something that we all feel as humans. It’s a sudden jolt to the system signaling that something is off. Whether caused by forces seen and unseen, it’s a paralyzing turbulence that no one would wish even on their worst enemy. Reason being fear is a predator waiting to cause pestilence on its prey without them knowing. It pits us against ourselves, weaponizing our traumas, insecurities and uncertainties to destroy us. Boo! Run while you can.

Pair of eyes lurking in the dark, Australian artist Daniel Glass’ pounces on us with his latest offering ‘A Running Man’. Released October 19th in all major platforms worldwide. Daniel Glass’ ‘A Running Man’ delves in the realm of fear but this time from committing to a relationship. Like a hitman on the loose, there’s this struggle whenever the topic of commitment makes an appearance. Allergic much? Perhaps, but what’s unsettling here is that they say they love the person yet there’s this crippling fear to give their all. There’s definitely trouble in paradise, and it needs to be addressed before the sands of time obliterate their chances at happiness to dust.

Despite the gravity of the matter, Daniel Glass present us a tune that’s smooth and often times bordering on magical. Packed with mesmerizing vocals that trail in the wind, and instrumentals coupled with synths reminiscent of fantasy games. ‘Running Man’ is a heavy dose of reality as to what couples face intertwined with a hopeless romantic delusion of finally finding their own happily ever after. Bittersweet no? Well that’s the name of the game, and it’s safe to say that Daniel Glass came away as the runaway winner.
