CHASE COY RELEASES FOURTH SINGLE FROM EPHEMERIST PROJECT

Chase Coy just dropped his fourth single “soulsurface” off of his alternative metal project Ephemerist. The inspiration for writing “soulsurface” is Coy explores the fear of death and the feeling of despair when allowing yourself to get too buried in dark thoughts. Coy has written, produced and mastered the entire song himself, which is super badass. Everything is personal well thought out and comes straight from Coy. It just feels so much easier to want to connect with the track knowing the passion he puts behind creating a song. “Soulsurface” has so many layers really building up the emotions, the energy and the darkness behind the lyrics. The chorus goes straight into screamo really making the pain feel real. The strain in his voice, the intense guitar and drums that carry the track really ties everything together perfectly. I think the single really showcases the many talents that Coy has. It feels super authentic and fresh to really have an artist put their all into their music. It reflects and comes across very well with a dope final product.
