Campus Festival Bielefeld is back for its 2026 iteration, featuring an extraordinary lineup across two stages and a dedicated “Elektro Floor.”

Ever since its debut in 2015, the Campus Festival Bielefeld, hosted by the University of Bielefeld, Germany, brings together top talents from all across Germany and beyond for a one-of-a-kind music experience. However, in addition to what it presents from the depths of its realms of music, the festival offers a public viewing of the soccer World Cup match between Germany and Ivory Coast, as well as access to some of Bielefeld’s most popular clubs such as Café Europa, Sam’s and Stereo. The Campus Festival ticket grants free entry to aforementioned clubs. In 2026, the Campus Festival Bielefeld stands out as one of Bielefeld’s greatest music events once again, not only for students, but for all festival friends alike.

For its 2026 run, the Campus Festival Bielefeld boasts an exciting lineup across its Main Stage, Hertz 87.9 Bühne and Elektro Floor, featuring beloved artists such as Fløre, TooNormal, Kunstloses Brot, Raum27, Ivo Martin, Bush.ida, Lara Hulo, Vicky, BHZ, Dikohexe, Angie Mill and many more. Follow along as we take a look at the highlights of the day.

Kicking off the festival on the Hertz 87.9 stage, the genre-defying artist TooNormal welcomed us to the Campus Festival Bielefeld 2026 with a bang. Ben Niekamp, who started his solo project TooNormal during the covid pandemic in 2020, has always been using music to share his thoughts with the world, carried by his beats. Just as himself, his music has evolved alongside him over the years, exploring all kinds of genres, ranging from rap, hyperpop, indie-pop, rock, metal and more. In short, TooNormal’s music, as well as his emotions do not abide by any rules or restrictions and celebrate sonic, as well as thematic exploration, which was only reflected in his opening performance at the festival.

Gripping the audience with his passionate performnce, he instantly had us hooked with songs such as “Lichtgeschwindigkeit” (“Light Speed”) illustrating the wish to be yourself in a relationship without having to pretend you’re someone you’re not, to “Gold” exploring the importance of being honest with yourself and not everything that looks shiny being gold, TooNormal shared with us the important lessons of life. With his honest and deeply emotional tracks, he resonated with the audience, making sure everyone feels welcome and understood. Other highlights on his set include songs like “Farbenblind,” (“Colorblind”) detailing the realization that you cannot win with the wrong people, no matter how well you explain yourself and your scars, as well as “Vergiss Dich Nicht,” (“Don’t Forget Yourself”) urging his love not to forget themselves prioritizing others. TooNormal’s opening show was a heartfelt introduction to what was to come at the Campus Festival Bielefeld 2026.

One artist we are especially fond of at Glasse Factory made her long awaited comeback at the Campus Festival Bielefeld. 2025 was a special year for her. Following the release of her latest EP MADWOMAN, her debut MADWOMAN tour throughout Germany, four festival appearances in the summer, as well as the release of celebrated, self directed music videos to brand new songs, the Campus Festival Bielefeld marks Fløre’s glorious return to stage. Back stronger than ever, the alt-pop artist from Iserlohn instantly had the crowd under her spell, taking us on a journey through her sonic world of the mystical, dark and highly emotional.

Immediately with the first song, she had a big surprise for us. For her comeback to stage, she treated us to a new, unreleased song called “Trouble With You.” One aspect of Fløre’s live shows that is especially important to her, is her relationship to and inteaction with her fans. It was a delight to see the front row dance the “Zombie” dance to the beloved song “ZOMBIE”, along with her. The track deals with past lovers from buried relationships crawling back to you like a zombie. “Don’t U Dare” is another mainstay on her setlist. The song portrays taking pride in not letting the other person see the heartbreak that they have caused, singing about all the wrongs they have done while insisting,

But don’t u dare to think I wrote this ’bout u

“ALIEN” is a love letter to finding that one special person that makes you feel understood and less alone. It truly shows that on stage with her fans is where she glows. The song makes Fløre’s connection to her fans apparent as she lovingly interacted with them throughout, pointing at them to the line

Home is where I’m with you

Her performance truly speaks to her artistic abilities, both in terms of songwriting and vocal presence. Despite technical difficulties, she let the absolute presence of her voice shine, giving us a never-before heard acapella version of her most streamed song “I’m okay, I’m just a little depressed.” The song is one of her most emotional pieces, talking highlighting the importance of expressing your emotions rather than bottling them up. It’s about finding a way to live with the darker aspects of life and missing yourself amongst all the suffocating feelings.

To finish her show with full force, Fløre sent us on our way with a hopeful message of “Sick Of Being Sad.” It combines the sad, as well as the more upbeat songs, giving us the strength to break free from the sadness and overcome it. It is powerful messages like these which carried throughout the Campus Festival Bielefeld and beyond, making it a truly special experience. Witnessing Fløre again at one of her live shows, as well as her ever-evolving sound and ways of self-expression was a truly magical experience and a highlight of the festival.

As Lara Hulo insists herself, “I don’t just want to be a side B*tch. I’d rather stay alone.” With this (translated) line from her song “Side B*tch,” she landed a viral hit that catapulted her to the very top of what music from Germany has to offer. Amassing more than 22 million streams, the song carried Lara over into the creation of her first EP Für Lara in 2024. Shortly after, her debut headline tour “Miete in Bar” (Rent in Cash) sold out completely, turning her into a main stay in the German music scene. Following a packed festival summer, as well as her second solo tour titled “HEARTFiX” throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland, we now had the pleasure to welcome her to the Campus Festival Bielefeld’s Main Stage. Next to her striking music, one of Lara Hulo’s specialties is her unmistakably raspy voice. With her authenticity, directness and honetsty, she stands for self-determination and not subverting one’s potential. It is these traits, reinforced in her performance, that truly added to the unforgettable experience that is the Campus Festival Bielefeld.

Bringing nothing but good vibes and a welcoming energy, the one and only Lara Hulo gave us the best time one could have at a festival. A strong voice for the LGBT community, she enchanted the crowd with songs like “Für Änni,” (For Änni) giving us an emotional ballad full of love for another woman. “Brich mir nicht mein Herz” (“Don’t break my heart”) goes into detail about the emotions surrounding the fear of gettinng your heart broken. However, with her upbeat and loving aura, Lara showed us an amazing time, opening up her very own moshpit, making for another unforgettable moment, before declaring her love for the air of Berlin in her beloved hit single “Berliner Luft” (“Berlin Air.”) A big Lara Hulo special she brought us was her Bielefeld Jam, with the audience giving her Bielefeld related keywords that she turned into an improvised song in collaboration with her fans, strengthening the already powerful feeling of inclusion and unity.

Next on the festival’s main stage, the Austrian rapper Victoria Zechner, better known as Vicky, turned up the heat. Releasing her debut single “T-Shirt hoch, T*tten raus” (“T-Shirt up, T*ts out”), it went viral fast, granting her an enormous reach. Following the hype, Vicky dropped her debut EP Wann Album? (When Album?) in 2025 and played at other prestigious festivals such as the Deichbrand Festival, Frauenfeld Festival and Southside Festival, now making her way to the one and only Campus Festival Bielefeld.

Drawing one of he biggest crowds of the day, the party was on. From throwing pink money notes to bouncing big red inflatable balls throughout the crowd the hype was at its peak. Songs like “P*rno, Bunte Scheine, Schüsse, GEH DUMM, Vodka Eis” (“P*rn, Colorful Banknotes, Shots GO STUPID, Vodka Ice”) and many more, Vicky not only showed us the party queen that she is, expertly commanding the crowd, but she also made sure we felt her deep love and appreciation for Bielefeld and its people.

Checking out the festival’s dedicated “Elektro Floor,” we had the pleasure to experience an extatic set by the amazing Angie Mill. With a generous heart and passionate commitment to her craft, Angie inspires like none other. Her music celebrates life while showing us her boundless energy and love for the bass house genre. More than just a DJ and producer, her path is a testament to how your dreams can come true when backed by relentless dedication and an unyielding spirit. It is exactly that, alongside the passion for her art that helped her rise through a male-dominated field like this to share her music with the world and now with us at the Campus Festival Bielefeld.

With her electrifying set, she gave the slowly setting sun an ecstatic atmosphere unlike any other. From the tightly packed, dancing crowd right in front of Angie, to those who preferred to enjoy the show from the green hill above, sitting in the grass and basking in the last sunrays of the day, one thing was felt throughout the area: unison. Her set was a truly special experience as it radiated her love for life and conveyed the impeccable summer feeling, celebrating togetherness and the importance of living the moment.

RAUM27 was another highlight of the day. Having quickly cemented their place in the German music landscape, Tristan Stadtler and Mathis Schröder are some of the most exciting young voices of their generation. The indie-pop band is beloved for their energetic live shows, creating a feeling of closeness and community that turn each performance into an intensive experience. At the Campus Festival Bielefeld, RAUM27 gave the evening a special touch, including topics of love, loss, friendship, mental health and more. Fresh off a sold-out tour in front of more than 20.000 fans in 2025, the band already announced further shows across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Now they’re here, setting the Campus Festival Bielefeld’s Hertz 87.9 Stage ablaze.

Hitting it off with “Warum tun die 20er so weh” (“Why do the 20’s hurt so much”) a massive crowd gathered in front of the stage, enjoying the arriving night air after the burning heat of the summer sun disappeared. Ranging from topics such as worries about the future and pressure to perform to relationships between longing for affection and the fear of just being used in “Bitte Bitte” (“Please Please”), RAUM27’s show was a reminder that no matter who you are and what burdens you, unity and love are the most important things and it shows. Despite technical difficulties, the crowd came together, chanting RAUM27’s songs. Another highlight of the whole festival that came from this situation was the band exited the stage, only to join the crowd and playing part of their show unplugged. Thanks to a highy professional team of technicians, the show was back on track and RAUM27 resumed with full force.

Another highlight of the festival, closing out the evening on the Hertz 87.9 Bühne, was Ivo Martin. His creations include the most versatile and harmonic songs, created from keywords sent to him by his fans. His endless creativity, paired with this next-level songwriting skills make for pieces with vivid imagery and relatable storytelling. Combining grand pop moments with organic instrumentation and floating guitars, Ivo Martin’s voice takes us on a journey through a world of deep emotions and artistic intent, wrapping up the Campus Festival Bielefeld with a truly special experience.

Unphased by initial technical difficulties, Ivo Martin took us on our final sonic journey of the day, entering the stage with his emotional hit “BLEIB” (“STAY”) wishing for his love to stay and to stay patient with him, even if his skies are gray. “wie schön es war” (“how beautiful it was”) is an ode to life, celebrating it to its fullest. In the song, Ivo Martin expresses his gratitude for the life he can never live again and having a toast to all the special memories: a message that resonated with everyone. This love for life and the curiosity for the unknown only expanded with his song “Mensch im Spiegel” (“Human in the mirror.”) The song communicates how getting to know yourself is a process and learning to love yourself while undoing all the bending for others are some of the most important goals one can have. With the cooling summer night air all around and the people dancing in unison, the final hours of the festival approached. Ivo Martin celebrated the special day with an emphasis on believing in the good in humanity, asking us to be human. He urges us to be compassionate and kind, making space for emotions and acknowledging the scars that the pressure of all that comes with being human can leave. If there is one message we should all take away from the Campus Festival Bielefeld, it is this.
