Austin Millz and Justine Skye Team Up For “On and On”
Producer and DJ Austin Millz has collaborated with singer Justine Skye for a brand new track, “On and On.” The groovy new single is one of six songs on Austin’s debut EP, Breathwork, which was released on June 16.
Millz is definitely a pioneer in the music industry right now, combining hip-hop, RnB, and dance music into one. Besides the collaboration with Justine Skye, his new EP also features songs with Sabrina Claudio, Alina Baraz, and Estelle. All three of those tracks were released as singles prior to the release of Breathwork, setting the stage for the fantastic EP to come.
Justine Skye is best known for her viral hit “Collide (feat. Tyga),” which blew up on TikTok and subsequently everywhere else. The song was originally released in 2014 but was given a new life online, reaching over 240 million streams on Spotify. Skye has since re-released the track on her newest album, Dark Side, including a solo version of the song and a sped-up remix.
In “On and On,” Justine’s smooth voice floats above the bass-heavy pop/RnB song, reminding me of days on the beach during the summer. This song is made for dancing, whether it’s with friends or alone in your room. This track is sure to be a smash hit this summer.
The new song was released with a music video, featuring Justine and Austin performing the song alongside dancers. The video has lots of shots of the pair spinning in circles, an homage to the title of the song. The visuals for the song perfectly complement the music, making me wish the song would just go “on and on”.
