Here are our daily picks for you featuring Doechii, Greg Freeman, Spark of Life and more!

1. “DENIAL IS A RIVER” – Doechii

“DENIAL IS A RIVER” by Tampa-born rapper and songwriter Doechii has reached an all-time high with over 80 million Spotify streams and 16 million YouTube views. Fresh off winning the “Best Rap Album” GRAMMY for her acclaimed Alligator Bites Never Heal mixtape, the 26-year-old brings a unique blend of old school hip-hop and contemporary rap to center stage. Alongside this award, Doechii was also nominated for Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance for her single “NISSAN ALTIMA.”

2. “YOU FLOATED ON” – Captain Highside

Atlanta-based alternative R&B artist Captain Highside has released his latest heartfelt ballad, “YOU FLOATED ON.” Weaved between intimate acoustic guitar, his soulful vocals paint a picture of moving on from a failed relationship amidst layers of nostalgia. “YOU FLOATED ON” can be found on Captain Highside’s new 9-track album, SAGITARRIUS I, available on all streaming platforms today.

3. “Right Before the Last Waves Took Vestris” – Greg Freeman

Up next is “Right Before the Last Waves Took Vestris,” the latest indie rock release from Vermont native Greg Freeman. The track’s vibrant instrumentation features twang-y guitar riffs, steady percussion beats and authentic, resonant vocals. It can be found on Freeman’s debut album, I Looked Out, which peaked at #12 on the Official SubModern Top 25 charts. Take a listen today!

4. “soft light” – young friend

Vulnerable at its core, “soft light” by JUNO-nominated young friend offers listeners a glimpse into the inner workings of his mind when in love. “It’s sort of a love letter to someone and all the little things that make them special,” says Drew Tarves, the face behind young friend. “It’s quiet, and feels a bit like reading someone’s journal.” If “soft light” struck a chord, check out young friend’s latest album release, I Looked Out.

5. “In Pursuit Of” – Spark of Life

Closing out today’s selection with a bang is “In Pursuit Of”, a high-energy single by Californian rock band Spark of Life. “Matters of the heart are always risky,” says Steve Jennings, the band’s singer. “‘In Pursuit Of’ is about knowing those risks and deciding to chase the love your heart wants anyway…even though it might break in the end.” Full of electrifying guitars, lively drums and gritty vocals, this song bleeds passion from the inside out. Stay on the lookout for the release of their upcoming sophomore album, Plagued By The Human Condition.

Today’s latest bring you some of the freshest indie, hip-hop and rock hits of the week. You won’t want to miss out!
