Here are our daily picks for you featuring Cory Marks, Gigi Wilde, Hepcat and more!

1. “For You (feat. Kaelin Ellis)” – TOKiMONSTA

GRAMMY-nominated, Los Angeles-based artist, producer and label-owner TOKiMONSTA has released her latest instrumental electronica single, “For You (feat. Kaelin Ellis).” The collaboration with Florida-based record producer Kaelin Ellis brings about an infectious blend of tech finesse. Jazzy synth lines, plucked arpeggios and syncopated rhythms form the backbone of the piece. “For You (feat. Kaelin Ellis)” marks TOKiMONSTA’s fourth release from her upcoming studio album, Eternal Reverie, set to be released sometime in 2025.

2. “Sorry For Nothing” – Cory Marks

“Sorry For Nothing” by Canadian singer-songwriter Cory Marks is a resilient country rock anthem highlighting what it is like to love authentically, pursue your dreams and live without any regrets. Marks’s soulful vocal delivery is both heartfelt and defiant, emphasizing the confidence behind the song’s lyricism. “Sorry For Nothing” can be found on the eponymous 13-track sophomore album, SORRY FOR NOTHING. Looking ahead, Marks will be embarking across Europe on a “Sorry For Nothing” tour, performing in places like Berlin, Hamburg, London and more. Ticket information can be found here.

3. “Who Knows Where the Time Goes” – Gigi Wilde

London-based soul and folk artist Gigi Wilde unveils the depths of her inner self with a rendition of “Who Knows Where the Time Goes.” Originally released by folk rock band Fairport Convention, Wilde’s version encapsulates the essence of its introspective, soulful nature. Her ethereal vocals blend with delicate acoustic guitar and light percussion. “It’s a song that’s lived so many lives with different musicians,” Wilde explains. “For me the lyrics are defiant, delicate and deeply sad and I wanted to create something that really showed these in the music as well.”

4. “Bobby & Joe” – Hepcat

Californian ska and reggae band Hepcat have released their latest groove-infused, soul-drenched track, “Bobby & Joe.” Composed of syncopated, up-beat rhythms, harmonized melodies and contagious saxophone licks, the piece is vibrant at its core. “Bobby & Joe” can be found on Hepcat’s latest remix album, Scientist Meets Hepcat: Scientific Dub Special. The new release welcomes the dub talents of Scientist, a renowned electronic and studio engineer. The result is 15 banging tracks that feature a wide range of reverb, delay and other contemporary effects. Check it out today!

5. “One Way or the Other” – M. Byrd

Closing out today’s selection is “One Way or the Other” by German-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer M. Byrd. Lyrics such as, “Dreaming of another life / One way or the other / Somewhere where it’s you and I,” exemplify Byrd’s reflections on the birth of his first child. He describes feeling anxious despite all the excitement, using music as an outlet to define his feelings and let his creativity shine through. “One Way or the Other” can be found on his latest EP, In Breech, available today on all streaming platforms. Find tickets for upcoming M. Byrd performances in Germany here.

Amidst country rock, reggae, indie and folk genres, one thing remains pretty true: music can be a strong pipeline for expression. Check out these five thought-provoking tracks today!
