Here are our daily picks for you featuring HotWax, Winona Fighter, Cornelia Murr and more!

1. “Pushing East” – Cornelia Murr

London-born, NY-based singer-songwriter Cornelia Murr has unveiled her latest single, “Pushing East.” The release is layered with atmospheric guitar riffs, ethereal vocals and accompanying kaleidoscopic visuals. “‘Pushing East’ is a breakup song, to be played ideally loud in the car in the fresh moment of irrevocable change,” Murr shares. “It speaks to aspects of relationship between musicians, when collaboration often takes place and leaves a creative product, and how an experience of one’s music differs completely from experiencing a relationship with that person.” Looking ahead, Murr will release her forthcoming album, Run To The Center, on Feb. 28, 2025, and will perform at a few celebratory venues afterwards. Performances are beginning to sell out, so find your ticket info here today!

2. “HAMMS IN A GLASS” – Winona Fighter

Nashville-based punk band Winona Fighter has released “HAMMS IN A GLASS,” an undeniable banger that blends infectious vocal delivery with powerful rock elements. The official music video exemplifies their chaotic aura with sporadic camera angles and close-ups of energetic guitar solos. “HAMMS IN A GLASS” will be available on the band’s upcoming debut album, MY APOLOGIES TO THE CHEF, a 14-track collection of songs set to be released Feb. 14, 2025. Immediately after, Winona Fighter will embark on their headlining, Yes, Chef Tour until March 7. Tickets are on sale here.

3. “Wanna Be A Doll” – HotWax

Up next is “Wanna Be A Doll,” the latest fire-infused single by UK rock trio HotWax. Full of twangy electric guitar solos, head-banging, foot-tapping vocals and steady percussion hits, the new release brings irresistible energy to the main stage. Lyrically, the song explores the self-realization that comes with examining one’s personal indecisiveness. The track is also the latest single taken off HotWax’s debut album, Hot Shock, set to be released March 7, 2025 via Marathon Artists. The group will be traveling across the UK on a headline tour supporting their album from March 3 – May 31. Find your tickets here today.

4. “It’s Alright (Nashville Session)” – Cecilia Castleman

Indie powerhouse Cecilia Castleman has released her latest anthem, “It’s Alright (Nashville Session).” Introspective at its core, the single intertwines groovy electric guitar riffs with harmonizing, resonant vocals to create a sense of hope and excitement for the future. “It’s my restless, ‘get out, do your own thing, and everything will be okay’ song,” Castleman shares. On Jan. 24, 2025, the Tennessee native will release her self-titled debut album, Cecilia Castleman, via Glassnote Records. Pre-order the album today, and check out tickets for her Nashville release showcase on Jan. 25, 2025.

5. “Born To Want More” – Caroline Romano

Closing out this week’s selection is “Born To Want More” by 23-year-old Nashville-based artist, Caroline Romano. The track bleeds vulnerability, highlighting the heart-wrenching ache of feeling like your dreams are so close, and yet so far. Intimate acoustic guitar weaves a gentle progression throughout Romano’s soulful musings, adding layers of candid complexity to the track. Along with the release of “Born To Want More,” Romano has announced an upcoming EP, How The Good Girls Die, set to drop sometime in early 2025.

From energizing rock hits to profound indie singles, these five new tracks exemplify what it’s like to be human amidst an everchanging landscape of relationships, feelings, memories and more. Check these artists out today and keep your eyes open for their respective album releases and performances!
