Inspiring. Inexplicably human. A true tribute to the significance of standing one’s ground. With the release of his new single, “On This Hill,” the global phenomenon T-Pain has begun to plant seeds of mental health awareness throughout his fanbase. This single was released on May 16, 2024, during Mental Health Awareness Month. T-Pain announced a partnership with Talkspace, an online therapy platform, to provide free consultations for fans for up to one year.
The combination of this new release and alliance illustrates the power that musicians and artists around the world have in terms of advocating for real-life issues. When speaking about the essence of the track, T-Pain says,
This song is really about refusing to be gaslit anymore. It’s about coming to a realization that I have to stand up for myself. Over the years, that has been something I’ve had to open my eyes to and learn how to deal with. So yeah, I’ll die on this hill, ha!
