Miami Music Week 2024, Legends Party by Green Velvet

Miami Music Week (MMW) was once again transformed into a pulsating hub of musical delight by Pyramid Events. Renowned for their stellar curation and management, Pyramid Events ensured that South Beach became the epicenter of electrifying events from March 19th to March 24th, 2024. Each gathering was meticulously crafted to offer a unique blend of talent and ambiance.

At the heart of the festival bonanza was the highly anticipated Legends party, presented by none other than Cajmere, now known as Green Velvet. This event marked the triumphant return of Cajual Records, Green Velvet’s esteemed Chicago house music label, and promised to be a celebration like no other. Taking place on March 21st at The National Hotel, the Legends pool party paid homage to over 30 years of Cajual Records’ influence on the dance music scene.

The lineup for the Legends party was essentially a rundown on dance music royalty, featuring luminaries from both Detroit Techno and Chicago House. From the groundbreaking sounds of Carl Craig to the bumping beats of Marshall Jefferson, attendees experienced a music journey that spanned decades of innovation. Joining them were icons such as Heidi, Stacey Pullen, Justin Martin, and Murk, ensuring that the party’s vibe never died.

But the Legends party was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to Pyramid Events’ offerings for Miami Music Week 2024. The week was packed with happenings: Mixmag Caribbean’s Opening Pool Party, Cajual Records’ Legends Pool Party, Sonny Fodera’s Solotoko Miami Pool Party, Green Velvet’s La La Land Miami, and Toolroom MMW Pool Party. Each event offered a unique experience that showcased the diversity and vibrancy of the electronic music scene.

Pyramid Events curated a schedule that catered to every musical taste, with events at both The National Hotel and The Uma Hotel. Whether attendees were fans of Gene Farris’ infectious beats or Stacey Pullen’s cutting-edge sound, there was something for everyone to enjoy throughout the week.

With South Beach being helmed as one of the EDM capitals of the world, it makes sense that Pyramid Events would pad out their roster with so many music powerhouses and events of epic proportions. MMW 2024 may be over, but with the success of yet another year, EDM enthusiasts can hope to see another jampacked week from Pyramid Events and Green Velvet in 2025.
