“IN THE SHADOW (OF NOTRE-DAME)” BY NOASIS BRINGS THE CITY OF PARIS TO YOUR EARS
Inspired by Noasis’ time in Europe, “In the shadow (of Notre-Dame) was just released a few days ago and is a pop rock indie track. The message around the track allowing thins to grow spiral out and up all around us. The idea that we have someone special in our lives not realizing that they are not helping you grow and the alignment is just off. Notre Dame is used as metaphor to represent that everything is beautiful because of the image in front of you, but when you step around into the light there is so much more. The vocals lustful and full of sultry carried by a soft electrical guitar. The use of the bells in the intro is perfect to set off the song as it puts you right into the setting of feeling like you’re strolling down a gorgeous city in Europe.
