BOWIE RELEASES INCREDIBLY MOVING SINGLE “MILK ME”

Bowie just released her latest track “Milk Me” with the captivating message of broken humanity. Working people to the bone, everyone is running their course. The societal pressure gets to us and we start to feel like machines in the system. One of the messages Bowie wanted to portray is that our society has become so fast-paced that it’s hard to catch one’s breath, there’s always a better, a faster, a ‘more awesome’ somewhere.

“Milk Me” is dark and powerful. It combines electric guitar, electronic sounds played by acoustic instruments. Bowie’s hypnotic vocals are carried by deep bass rhythms. This is her third single and she based off a world that contradicts everything she stands for. “Milk Me” embodies strength, courage and power to stand in the face of a world that can be cruel. She is searching for that consistency especially with her music. The feeling of being replaced in the music industry scares her. In this track, she slips into the game that humanity is known for. Making herself virtually invulnerable by locking her innermost self safely away.

Bowie recently set out on a path to self-acceptance with her very first EP fully written in Los Angeles, The Upside Down. The Upside Down is the first part of a concept album that will be released in 2023 “Milk Me” is another journey she explored while rebirthing herself. It’s real, raw, painfully her. Bowie is a strong female powerhouse. She wanted to quit, wanted to give up but stood her ground and rose above everything.
