The vocals start off soothing with lyrics that stand out right away. FIGS opens the tune with the second lyric being “they see war as a beautiful thing.” As if personal struggles is somehow glamorized and trendy. As the track continues it tells the story that only the stars truly know who we are. The moment you look up at the stars, you are one with them. It is peaceful and helps you forget about all the ugly in the world. “Lonely Feeling” brings the feeling of self reflection with a calming melody. Gives off the vibe of “Wake Me Up When September Ends” from the iconic Green Day. Instantly easy to miss the importance of the message until diving deep into the lyrics. Even crazier is after I was done listening to the song, YouTube suggested listening to Green Day. “Lonely Feeling” is definitely one that needs to be played on repeat.
