Comprised of chords with crunchy tones, the six-stringed instrument provides a pulsating backbone to the track. Though indebted to the guitar, what makes “Dreamers” such a catchy powerhouse is its ability to let every instrument have its moment to shine. The groovy organ played by Jeremy Coulter adds crisp sonic space, while Pat Power’s drumming creates tremendous energy to an already energetic song. Colin Wysman’s bass and Roye Trout’s relaxed vocals also fit perfectly into the mix, never overpowering the other instruments yet still sounding musically profound.
