Mayday Parade has released their new single “Golden Days” via Rise Records. The singer Derek Sanders says “’Golden Days’ is a song about pandemic fatigue. After a year of restrictions and negativity I was hopeful that better days would soon be ahead.” “Golden Days” is the fourth single from their album. “Bad at Love,” “Kids of Summer,” and “One for the Rocks and One for the Scary” we’re released already and the full-length album, What It Means To Fall Apart was released on November 19.

In “Golden Days” the band ponders and contemplates over what it was like living amidst a global pandemic and how it affected them as a normal human being. The influence of a pop-punk tune with optimistic lyrics adds beauty to the track. The band used a different style while recording this, with no particular goal in mind they worked on whatever they could do and ended up with a full-length album with 12 tracks, which were written from their hearts and show that they want to move forward with the knowledge they gained from the past. What It Means To Fall Apart is their seventh studio album together. It was created with longtime collaborators Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount.

Mayday Parade have sold over 1.6 million albums in the U.S. which also includes 675 million streams. They have a certified Gold album and multiple global tours and their fanbase only keeps growing.
