NMF Dance: Our Picks For The Week
New dance releases from Syence, WHIPPED CREAM, Levity, and more on NMF Dance!
1. Syence, Supafly, x.o.anne – “Earth Move”
Syence, Supafly, and x.o.anne make the “Earth Move” on their new deep house collab. Anchored by x.o.anne’s soulful, gravity-bending topline, the track swells from silky croons into full-bodied belts that hits as hard emotionally as it does physically. As the beat thickens and the bassline growls, “Earth Move” lands as a soaring, body-to-body anthem about soulmates powerful enough to knock the world off its axis.
2. Levity – “Heartbreak”
Levity open their 2026 account with “Heartbreak,” the second single from their upcoming EP Escapism, Vol. 2 and a cathartic comedown built for big rooms and late-night headphones alike. Blending pop-forward songwriting with dubstep-leaning sound design, the track traces the emotional fallout of a breakup while still hitting with the trio’s signature, high-impact, dancefloor-ready punch. Starting the year off right with “Heartbreak,” Levity sets the emotional temperature for their biggest chapter yet.
3. WHIPPED CREAM – “it’s time to go home”
WHIPPED CREAM begins a new chapter with “it’s time to go home,” her first single of 2026 and a feral collision of industrial electronics and confessional alt-pop. Layering a dark, existential inner monologue over pounding bass and razor-edged techno details, the Canadian producer and vocalist traces the desperation of needing to escape a toxic situation while the track swells heavier and more urgent with each bar.
4. Bishu, PROPNIGHTMODE – “DOOMSCROLL”
Bishu rips into the chaos of online clout-chasing on “DOOMSCROLL,” an indie electronic cut featuring PROPNIGHTMODE. The collab flips the burnout of chasing relevance into an anthemic, hyperpop-laced rush that’s equal parts self-aware and addictive. As PROP’s frenzied topline races over the beat like an endless feed refresh, “DOOMSCROLL” becomes a sly, hook-heavy snapshot of the modern music grind.
5. Welker – “Ice In My Eyes”
Max Styler plants a flag for his Nu Moda universe with Nexus 001, the imprint’s inaugural compilation and a five-track tour through the sleeker edges of indie dance and house. Across exclusive cuts from Welker, Josh Gigante & Ugo Banchi, Mishell, Pavel Petrov, and DvirNuns & DOX, the project is led by Welker’s confrontational “Ice In My Eyes,” a track that is tightly curated, underground-minded, and dialed in to where the next wave of dance music is headed.

With its explosive energy and the band’s very own undeniable edge, “Disconnected” proves Story Of The Year are still masters at turning inner chaos into anthemic release.
5. Madison Beer – “bad enough”
Madison Beer zeroes in on pure pop adrenaline with “bad enough,” the standout new single from her freshly released album locket. The track channels her most visceral, self-penned era yet, pairing diaristic lyrics with a knockout hook.
