Today, Iris Lune shares “Midas,” the last single before the release of their debut album, lovelosslove, due out June 19th. Inspired by the Greek myth King Midas and our present day leaders, “Midas” is a powerful song about how greed and power can make us lose our humanity. Iris Lune further explains, “the song explores the ways in which false prophets lead us into a mire from which it’s difficult to extricate ourselves. In this case, the grief is collective and only truth, honesty and love can lead the way out.”
