In the past few days, Hayley Williams, who is also the beloved frontwoman of Paramore, has been dropping hints at a potential new, secret album.
Rock legend Hayley Williams just surprised us with what might be a whole new solo album in the making. Following Paramore’s drop of the deluxe version to their debut album All We Know Is Falling, 20 years after the album’s initial release, the secret drop of new songs by Williams pursued. Hayley took fans back to the early days of the internet, dropping 17 previously unheard tracks on her website in form of retro-style mp3 files. The songs were barred behind a secret access code, obtainable through the purchase of a signed, limited edition, marigold yellow hair dye called “Ego” by a haircare brand by the name of “Good Dye Young.” Could Ego be the potential title of the new album? However, only a few days later, she removed the songs, leaving us with a message saying “Hello, there. Thank you for listening.” If these songs are indeed part of a new album, it would be Williams’ first LP in four years, with her previous album being 2021’s Flowers for Vases.
While the songs have been removed, we still have the tracklist in no particular order.
