We’re so excited to present our Nashville Spotlight artist for the month, in partnership with H.O.M.E!
Vltra Violet is carving out a space entirely her own, blending music with storytelling, visual identity, and emotional depth. The project moves through themes of healing, transformation, and rebirth, creating a sound that feels both immersive and deeply personal. With the debut EP Bleeding Heart(s) on the horizon, Vltra Violet enters a new chapter and leads with vulnerability, intention, and artistic evolution. We caught up with Vltra Violet to explore the creative journey, inspirations, and experiences shaping this next chapter.
Over the past year in Nashville, Vltra Violet found a strong sense of community in the city:
I’ve been in Nashville a little over a year, and the best part about being here are the incredible, talented, kind people I have met and formed community with through an organization called H.O.M.E. — Helping Our Music Evolve.
While Vltra Violet draws strong inspiration from media and culture, the project doesn’t center on a single character. Instead, it follows a broader, more universal narrative that reflects growth, challenge, and transformation. This perspective grounds the project in intention, shaping each release around something larger than a single moment or trend.
While I’m very inspired by media and culture, I don’t feel a direct relation to any specific character. However, I do relate to the “Hero’s Journey” archetype. I’ve always felt called to help make the world a better place, have faced many obstacles/twists/turns/and foes in pursuit of that calling, experienced death and rebirth, and currently find myself somewhere leading in to step 11: “The Return Home”. (Although I wouldn’t call myself a hero directly)
Vltra Violet’s journey began with a moment that shifted everything, redirecting both path and purpose. That turning point continues to influence the way the project takes shape today. That sense of purpose drives every creative decision, from songwriting to visual storytelling.
Vltra Violet was born out of Divine Intervention. I was on one path: become a tech CEO girl boss, when something greater than myself opened my eyes and mind. It showed me the truth about this world, the truth about my being and purpose, and completely rearranged my life to align with this purpose. It all sounds very dramatic, and to be honest, it was. However the core of it is that music is one of the most powerful tools for healing. Vltra Violet is a light that can only be seen in the dark.
That same mindset carries into artistic inspiration, with a clear admiration for artists who take full control of their creative worlds and push beyond expectations. This influence extends beyond sound and into identity, shaping how Vltra Violet approaches presentation as a whole.
I’ve always been most inspired by the greats. Artists that direct every detail of their artistry, which comes through in not just the music, but the visuals, the fashion, the performance, the marketing, the stage design, everything. I would say the very first artist that really lit that fire within would be Lady Gaga when I was in high school. She just blew my mind wide open. I can still do the Bad Romance choreography to this day and often choose this song during karaoke.

Growth continues to push the project forward, both sonically and creatively. Each release builds on the last, with a clear focus on refinement and experimentation. That constant evolution keeps the project dynamic, preventing it from settling into a single sound or direction.
I just keep pushing myself to get better and better. To keep improving the sonic quality with each release and each collaboration. There’s an insane amount of incredible music out there with more getting distributed every day, so even songs I’ve already released, I will go back to re-work and re-release. I’m always evolving.
The debut EP Bleeding Heart(s) highlights that evolution, pulling directly from moments of loss, transition, and emotional reconstruction. It marks a defining chapter in Vltra Violet’s artistic journey. Through this project, Vltra Violet invites listeners into a deeply personal experience that still feels widely relatable.
Happy // Sad is the first single off my soon-to-be-announced debut EP called Bleeding Heart(s). This project was born from what would be step 4 in the Hero’s Journey: “Crossing the Threshold” and the events that occurred in 2021.
This is when my life came apart all at once. I was guided away from my relationship, my career, and the identity I had spent years building. This loss became the raw material for everything on this EP.
She continues,
The central themes are sacrifice, longing, and transformation. It traces the emotional stages of grief you move through when you lose not just a person but a version of yourself. Vulnerability runs through every track, my literal bleeding heart laid out for all to see. The hope is that listeners hear something familiar in it, and that it becomes as much of a healing experience for them as making it was for me

One lyric captures the emotional weight that runs throughout the project, reflecting both pain and persistence. Moments like this reveal the raw honesty at the project’s core.
From a song called Can’t Believe from the EP Bleeding Heart(s)
“Sword in the heart
Excalibur
But I’m no Alexander
Can’t pull it out
The wound just keeps on bleeding…”
Looking ahead, this release continues to shape the creative process and reinforces the importance of patience and trust in the work.
It has shown me that (for me) true art can’t be rushed. I’ve been developing this EP since 2023 and every time I think I know how it’s going to come to fruition, something or someone comes and completely changes my perspective. So as I move on to my first album after the EP, I will keep that in mind and let it come together however it is meant to. (Much less stress that way!)
As this next chapter unfolds, Vltra Violet now turns focus toward live performance, expanding the project beyond recorded music into a fully immersive experience. With that expansion, the world of Vltra Violet continues to grow in both scope and ambition.
Next for me is to begin developing the live performance elements of Vltra Violet. Because I’m a multi-media artist, the way I think about the stage goes beyond just my singing and dancing. So it will be the next revelation in my world-building efforts.
Stay tuned for Vltra Violet’s upcoming projects as this next phase continues to take shape. There is much more to come as the project continues to evolve.
