In addition to the much anticipated electrifying performances, Ultra Music Festival is proud to announce that Mission: Home – a women-led, environmental sustainability initiative, just won the Sustainability Team Award at the World Sustainability Awards this year.
In 2023, Mission: Home partnered with Clean Vibes to divert 184,000 pounds of waste from landfills and achieve 100% acceptance of recycling loads at local facilities. Collaborations with Replenysh resulted in the recycling of 81,049 pounds of aluminum cans and plastic bottles within the southeastern United States, offsetting the carbon footprint of recycling transportation.
Other initiatives, such as reducing plastic usage and energy efficiency measures, demonstrate Ultra’s commitment to sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.
